Vincent Lim, the principal of Visual Text Architects (VTxT), founded the firm in 2010 after serving as a partner at VeTarchitecture from 2000 to 2010. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience at Bedmar & Shi Designers/B&S&T Architects from 1994 to 2000. Graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1994, Vincent earned prestigious honors, including the Singapore Institute of Architects Medal and the Board of Architects Prize. He has been a consistent contributor to design magazines since 1991 and served as the editor for two issues of The Singapore Architect. Vincent’s writing extends beyond magazines; he authored the commemorative book for Changi Terminal 3, served as an adjunct editor for the Centre for Liveable Cities, and contributed to the publication committee of the Singapore Institute of Architects magazine. Alongside his professional endeavors, Vincent has also shared his knowledge and expertise through teaching roles at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore, where he has held both part-time and adjunct positions.
