Poon Chip Wah is an architect based in Singapore, having started his career after earning an Honours degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 1992. He founded Poon Architects in 2011 and serves as its principal and design director. Prior to establishing his firm, he began his educational journey with a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Singapore Polytechnic in 1988. Poon became a registered architect in Singapore in 1996.
Throughout his career, Poon has been actively involved in a diverse array of projects. His portfolio includes single-unit landed homes, high-end residential complexes spanning multiple stories, industrial facilities, and mixed-use developments. Notable projects he has contributed to include condominiums at various prestigious locations such as Hillview Ave, West Coast Rise, Stevens Road, and Balmoral Crescent. He has also been involved in executive condominiums at Pasir Ris Drive, as well as prestigious developments like Good Class Bungalows on Ridout Road, Nassim Road, and Sunset Avenue, among others.
