Goy Zhenru received her architectural education at the National University of Singapore and the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zürich in Switzerland. After gaining experience in both countries, she established her own firm in Singapore in 2015. Goy has designed a diverse array of structures, including educational facilities, farm-stay resorts, residential buildings, and industrial complexes. Her design work also extends to creating custom furniture and decorative objects that enhance the interior and architectural aesthetics of her projects. She is a strong advocate of vernacular architecture and craftsmanship, blending traditional forms with modern elements to reflect a connection to history and roots.

Dessy Anggadewi brings a decade of architectural experience from Bali and Singapore, having worked on notable resort projects such as the Muthaafushi Resort in the Maldives while at Forum Architects in Singapore. Her meticulous attention to detail is a key asset, and she collaborates closely with Balinese craftsmen to create distinctive and expressive interior objects. Dessy was awarded the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) Scholarship and completed her master’s degree at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. She is a licensed architect in Indonesia.

Sam leads the material research office in Chiangmai, Thailand, where she sources regional materials and collaborates with local artisans and manufacturers to develop unique material palettes for select projects. She is committed to sustainable design, always seeking eco-friendly local materials and construction details. With over a decade of experience in Thailand and Singapore, Sam has worked on various projects ranging from hospitality to mixed-use developments. She is a licensed architect in Thailand and an adjunct tutor at Chiang Mai University (CMU).

Nichole completed her studies at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and has a keen interest in working with texture, color, and intimate architectural scales. Before obtaining her MArch, she worked on residential and commercial projects in local design and architecture practices.

Aussie is passionate about craftsmanship and material exploration, believing that integrating local craftsmanship with modern design produces unique and authentic pieces. She finds that combining craftsmanship, thoughtful details, and the right materials creates visually satisfying and honest work. Collaborating with skilled artisans is a vital and enjoyable part of her design process.

Goy Architects has received numerous accolades for its innovative and thoughtful designs. In 2019, the firm was awarded Home of the Year, Best Space for Retreat, and Outstanding HDB Flat for the Shizukokoro project at the Lookbox Design Awards. The Heng House earned Honourable Mentions for Best Space for Entertaining and Outstanding Landed Home, as well as a shortlist placement for Most Dramatic Transformation. Additionally, the Gerhana-Eclipse project was shortlisted for Best Space for Retreat and Outstanding HDB Flat at the same awards. The Sukasantai Farm stay project was a finalist for the 2019 Architecture Asia Award for Emerging Architects by ARCASIA. The Heng House also garnered the Gold award for Best Residential Design in Private Houses at the Design Excellence Awards 2018/2019. Furthermore, the firm was shortlisted for Outstanding Private Apartment at the Lookbox Design Awards in 2017.
