Tan Kok Hiang is one of the Founding Directors of Forum Architects Pte Ltd. With a quarter-century of experience, his work encompasses master planning, healthcare, institutional, residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. His role in developing the new Kadang Kerbau Hospital (KK Hospital) during his tenure at Arkitek Tenggera provided him with significant experience in managing large-scale and complex projects. Kok Hiang is attentive to the unseen forces in architecture and human life, believing that architecture can elevate the human experience to higher levels.
Ho Sweet Woon, also a Founding Director of Forum Architects Pte Ltd, has an extensive portfolio built over 25 years, showcasing her versatility and expertise from conceptualization to implementation. Her previous role as Project Manager at Jones Lang Wootton has endowed her with strong project management and delivery leadership skills. Sweet Woon has a comprehensive understanding of master planning and excels in handling large institutional, commercial, and residential projects.

Forum Architects Awards and Credentials
Forum Architects has earned numerous awards and accolades that highlight its excellence in architectural design. The Khoo Teck Puat-National University Children’s Medical Institute (KTP-NUCMI) was recognized with the IIDA Healthcare Design Awards 2020 and the International Academy for Design and Health Award 2020. This institute also received an Honourable Mention at the Outstanding Property Award London (OPAL) in 2019. The University Sport Centre (USC) won the Architectural Design Award at OPAL in 2019.
In 2019, Jurong Town Hall received Honourable Mentions in the Conservation category at the SIA Architectural Design Awards. The NUS University Sports Centre was honored in the Schools category at the BCI Asia Interior Design Awards in 2018. The BASF Learning Campus in Singapore was awarded the Outstanding Award of Excellence and a Gold Award at the Singapore Landscape Architecture (SILA) Awards in 2015.
Tan Kok Hiang, a founding director of Forum Architects, was named Designer of the Year at the President’s Design Award Singapore in 2014. Maxwell Chambers at Maxwell Road received recognition from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in 2010 and earned Honourable Mentions in two categories at the 10th SIA Architectural Design Awards.
The Assyafaah Mosque at Canberra Road/Admiralty Lane has been widely recognized, winning the Design Award in the Place of Worship category at the 8th SIA Architectural Design Awards in 2006 and being selected among the best thirty works at the “Barbara Cappochin” Architecture 2005. It also received an Award for Innovative Architecture at the International Architects’ Salon 2005 in Beijing and multiple commendations at the Cityscape Awards in Dubai in 2004 and 2003.
The British Council at Napier Road, Asian Civilisation Museum II at Empress Place, and Hibiki Restaurant at The Legends Country Club were all finalists at the IDC/Nippon Paint “Colour My World” Design Excellence Awards in 2004. Henderson Community Club & Bukit Merah West Neighbourhood Police Centre and Sentosa Cove Sales Info Centre received Highly Commended awards at the Cityscape Awards in Dubai in 2003, with the former also winning Silver Awards for both External and Internal Building Components at the 4th SIA Micro Design Award in 2003.
31 Boon Tat Street and the Shophouse at Boon Tat Street were recognized at the SIA Design Award 2003 and the SIA-ICI Colour Award 2003, respectively. Cavenagh Fortuna at 91 Cavenagh Road was honored at the 6th SIA Design Award 2001 and the SIA Facade Design Excellence Award 2001. Additional notable awards include the SID (S) Nippon Paint Award 2001 for Camden Medical Centre and multiple commendations for Henderson Community Club & Bukit Merah West Neighbourhood Police Centre.
EWO Cineplex at Suntec City and other projects have been recognized for their innovative use of color and design, demonstrating a long-standing tradition of excellence in architecture and interior design.
