B+H Architects Awards and Credentials

B+H excitedly announced that two of its projects have been selected as finalists for the 2021 World Architecture Festival (WAF) – Future Projects Awards. Among the finalists are the Shenzhen Children’s Hospital & Science and Education Building, nominated for the Health – Future Projects award, and the Shenzhen Natural History Museum, vying for the Culture – Future Projects award.

Crafted through collaboration between B+H and the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute (ECADI), the Shenzhen Children’s Hospital & Science and Education Building stands out for its innovative approach, blending research, education, and patient care. Recognized in an international design competition, this project aims to elevate the existing hospital into a premier hub for pioneering research and pediatric medicine education.

In another endeavor, B+H joined forces with 3XN and Zhubo Design to compete for the design of the Shenzhen Natural History Museum. Their winning proposal, titled “Delta,” promises to become one of Shenzhen’s key cultural landmarks, slated to be among the city’s “Ten Cultural Facilities of the New Era.” Upon completion, it will be the first comprehensive natural museum in Southern China, marking a significant milestone in the region’s cultural landscape.

The acknowledgment by the esteemed World Architecture Festival is a testament to the innovative vision and collaborative spirit embodied in B+H’s projects. With anticipation, the team looks forward to showcasing their work to the distinguished panel of judges at the upcoming WAF event in December.
